David Mills > We toured the Great Wall at a place called Badaling Pass. Here the Great Wall is shaped like a "C". The top and bottom of the "C" run along parallel mountain ridges. The middle of the "C" drops down into the pass from both sides. We parked at the bottom of the West mountain that forms the bottom of the "C". This picture shows the Great Wall running along the East Mountain.

The wall that comes down the East Mountain is the one that connects to the West Mountain. The wall that continues to the left is the connection to the remainder of the Great Wall.
